چکیده
The aim of this study was to evaluate the health situation chukar partridges through several diagnostic methods. We investigated a total 224 birds in eighteen populations throughout Turkey, fourteen wild and four captive. molecular sexing method used for gender identification. Clinically, traumatic lesions inflammatory reactions were most commonly observed eyes extremities Chukar Partridges breeding stations. At necropsy, common findings enteritis liver lesions. histopathological examination, pneumonia, anthracosis, changes digestive system among findings. Interestingly, parasites found samples. immunohistochemical examinations, tissues evaluated Marek’s disease (MD), Adenovirus, Avian mycobacteriosis (AMB), Aspergillosis. While MD AMB not stations, we determined them from populations. Aspergillus both captive populations; Adenovirus antigens only When together, 1.3%, 0.9%, Aspergillosis 1.8% found. relation between sex diseases also examined. As result, data showed that stations are an important source diseases, but especially released may carry some microorganisms. For reason, should be regularly monitored contagious diseases.

This study was conducted to assess the effect of the coccidiostat halofuginone (Stenorol) on growth, feed consumption, and survival of Chukar partridge. Halofuginone was fed to three replicates (14 chicks per replicate) of chukar chicks from 2 to 7 d of age at levels of 0, 1.5, 3.0, 6.0 and 12 ppm. Mortality from 2 to 7 d was 0, 0, 0, 11, and 21 birds, respectively, by treatment. Seven-day body...

Using museum specimens collected in Israel during the second half of the 20th century, no support was found for the hypothesis that body mass and tarsus length of chukar partridges Alectoris chukar has changed as a result of global warming. Body mass showed ̄uctuations during the year, reaching a maximum in late winter and spring and a minimum in summer. Bergmann's rule predicts that in warmblo...
متن کاملHistomorphogenesis of the Chukar Partridge (Alectoris Chukar) Knee Joint
Introduction: There are differences in the pattern of the knee joint formation of the studied species. According to the small number of studies which focused chronologically on the avian knee histomorphogenetic events, its “morphogenetic pattern” is hard to be proposed. The present work was designed to identify the sequential events of the knee formation in the partridge embryo. Regarding to di...
